Final Cut window lock?

is there a way to "lock" the windows i.e. browser, canvas, viewer, and timeline together? So when I press command-M it minimizes the whole app instead of just the selected window. This is pretty annoying because I never change the layout.

I don't think so... just right-click the icon in the dock and "hide" it.
