Nice review, Chris. I really like the front of the case, but can't get past the "blockiness" of the back and sides, so it is not really for me. But it seems like the trend is now moving toward 1/2 and 1/2 aluminum-hybrid composites, which appears to be a very good thing.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks. As far as the blockiness is concerned, I think that's what makes it appeal to me. Afterall, the iPhone 4 itself is blocky (basically a glass brick!), so to me, the case keeps most of the natural lines of the phone itself alive.

the sabre + clear back is too hot... just one question tho wut are the chances that dust is gona show inside the phone? or is it completely sealed? even my screen has tiny bit of dust in it and its always been in a case and screeenshield.

It seems pretty sealed. It's more or less equivalent to the build quality of the OEM black glass back, and there was no dust under it when I first removed it. This clear glass back has been on for over a week, and I've yet to see any dust slip in under it.

I really like the looks of this case now that the back is fully open... Hmm :D

The open back and even the fully closed back look really good in person. I myself don't like the "partial open" back near as much after getting these in my hands. And as far as the case being "squared off", again, for 90% of the case, it follows the lines of the iPhone itself. It's VERY slim on the sides and top, hugging the phone pretty tightly. The only place it introduces any "boxy" design at all to the original look of the phone is in the corners, and that's there more for protection during drops more than anything. I've got all polycarbonate (plastic) cases that are darn near as "boxy/brick-like".
