Ok, so i have asked a few times and got different answers. I have a 4k TV that I got for my 2009 Mac Pro running a GTX970. The TV has HDMI 2.0 input and supports 60hz over it. My Mac pro refuses to allow 60Hz. I have heard I can hack it, but I seem unable to disable SIP as I don't have a Mac keyboard (I have a K811 bluetooth keyboard and a GT120for the boot screen access). Anyway, I am going to sell the 4k TV if I can't get 60hz to work. in a final ditch attempt before selling, if I was to get an active Displayport 1.2 - HDMI 2.0 adapter such as https://www.amazon.com/Vantec-Displ...yPort+1.2+to+HDMI+2.0a+Active+Adapter+4K@60Hz Will it allow me to select 60Hz output?
