Other than the 50 hz flicker which I find to be supper annoying, no problems at all.
Hmm...So you're not getting the black screen/cut out for a second or two now? I've changed from 60Hz to 50Hz but still experiencing the same problem. Baffled that other users haven't experienced this.

It appears we have the same setup. Did you experience issues with your external display screen going black for a second or two and then coming back on? I got the Dell U3415W on Thursday and connected it to my 2015 rMB via the Apple USB-C to HDMI adapter and have experienced this issues lots of times. Very disappointed but if you have any suggestions for how I could resolve this, I'd greatly appreciate it :)

My setup works perfectly fine at 60Hz on the native resolution of 3440*1440. With no cutting in and out.
But I found that if the power supply is not enough, there will be some problem with the screen. For example if I cut the AC power, the 3415w will go down at the same time.

I've got the 2016 15" MacBook Pro with the Dell U3415w monitor, using the Apple multiport adapter and the monitor's hdmi cable.

I'm also getting the monitor cutting out for a few seconds on the 60hz. I think using 50hz fixes it, but its too early to tell right now.

Is there a fix for the 60hz?
