finally did the 10.3.8 update........

now my trackpad is slow during vertical movement. stupid 10.3.8. i've tried reseting the trackpad by placing my palm over it for 5 seconds. still no better. i used 10.3.7 since i took the powerbook out of the box, which has been over a month.

i'm still running 10.3.7 too. i probably won't upgrade until 10.3.9 and only if i hear good things

my theory is alot of the people that were complaining about the trackpad, had already updated to 10.3.8 before noticing the problem. i definitely notice the problem because i was on 10.3.7 for so long. this sucks.

in my case, i seriously think its a driver issue, not hardware. probably the same for everyone else that was crying about slow vertical movement on their trackpads.

Hopefully the trackpad problem is fixed in the next update. I hope there are no problems like this when Tiger launches.
