Finally found a job. Yay Me!

So I was laid off from the new home industry back in April. I haven't tried too hard to find work 'cause I wanted the summer off. I found a great job on Workopolis and applied. I've been there for a week in the accounting department and expect to be an assistant controller in a few months. Yay me!

Is anyone else's luck starting to turn around?

Very good good. You must feel real relieved to have work again. I've been very fortunate thus far but when my number is up I hope unemployment is very temporary.

It does. I'm pushing 50, have many years accounting experience and am 1/2 way through the CGA program. I'm also good looking and very lucky, apparently. I went to work for the people that built my house I liked it so much. I don't like them so much now, tho.....🙄
