I've been looking for an iMac G4 for a little while. It's too classic of a design to not have one represented in my collection, although it hasn't been an overly high priority for me.
The right one(and at the right price...i.e. free) came my way yesterday. It has a dead hard drive that makes an awful scraping sound when starting up, but otherwise is in good shape. It's the last generation 17". Apparently, the original buyer checked several of the upgrade boxes when buying, as it's a 1.25ghz and the sticker on the bottom indicates 1gb of RAM from the factory.
Hopefully it will be a quick fix when I can get it apart to install the new HDD.
