I got the basic white one, i dont need to burn dvds, at least not now, could always get a burner later

I'm in the same boat as a few of you, i wanna buy my first mac and i've decided on the macbook.

I'm still concerned that they'll introduce a major update in January since this was a stealth update, what made all you guys take the plunge and are you happy with your decision?

I've been reading about leopard and iLife 08 and iWork 08 and want one now!!

leopard was pre-installed, i go this one cause i seemed like all i would need for a long time to come. i do basic stuff and some semi-professional photography on the side. i dont think i will regret this purchase
