It's not like people can have different options which are just as valid when it comes to something as subjective as aesthetics. The saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" has been around for quite some time (in one form or another).

I am pretty sure that everyone has a fair understanding of how much purpose Apple put into designing those bands.
Who cares what you can or cannot do in 30 seconds.. most average iOS users could not or would not know how to do these things and the feature is therefore useful to them. Low battery mode is a feature.

On the iPhone 5S the antenna bands were fine. They broke up the design in a good way. On the 6/6S they're ugly as a battered hamster.

At what point did I ever say anything about the camera? I'm talking antenna lines here.
I don't care about the camera protruding at all though, because my case makes it flush. When I have the case off, I don't use my phone while it's flat, so it's not an issue, so I don't really have an opinion either way.
I did not like the glass sections top and bottom on the iPhone 5 but do not mind the thin bands on the 6 at all.
Ok, I don't care about the antenna lines and in fact I happen to like the design of the 6. That said, I actually agree with you about the protruding camera - it probably would have been better to make the phone a bit thicker to accommodate the lens (I would NOT want a lesser camera) and incidentally a bit bigger battery. So am I ok in your books or not?

What would be silly would be to avoid purchasing a device that works for me simply because I don't like something that is being covered up ANYWAY because I use a case.
That'd be ridiculous.
I don't like a protruding camera. I don't like the antenna bands. I always use cases. The antenna bands disappear and the camera is flush with the case.
