After 5 days, I finally received a call from an Apple Supervisor. Honestly, I never thought they would call but I was pretty confident that if they did, they would not help me out and I was right... nothing they could do.

I still want an X but I'm pretty confident that going forward I will hang on to the X phone for three years and when I upgrade again, I will not be going after the latest release but instead the previous model which will be readily available, sold at a discount and two years newer than the phone I'm looking to get rid of.

Jeez it was exhausting just reading what you went through. Sorry you had to go through all that heartache. Why don’t you line up tomorrow and hangout with folks, I’ve always met some cheery people in line.

I lined up once before in the early days and it was actually fun and exciting, I even camped out once; however, those days are gone, It was fun to do both once but I have no desire to do either at this point in my life.

Tomorrow I am driving my two boxes of accessories to the Apple store to return them and maybe management there will help me out in some way. Oh Great, an iphone X commercial just came on TV as I type this...lol
