Financial app for mac

can anyone recommend good but simple mac app .. check book type thing..

free to to cheap
MUST do recurring transactions
no need to connect to bank / no need for online banking..

does anyone know of moneydance does recurring transactions?

There was a sale until very recently...on BitsDuJour and on their own site. Totally worth the 30 I paid for it! Not sure if it is worth the 60 they are asking for it though....Similarly..you have MoneyWell, iBank, Moneydance and few more (whose names I do not remember at the moment). None of these programs are free though....

I use Moneywell and mostly like for my needs. I, too, don't need the downloading of information from financial institutions (although it is in there). I use as a checkbook type register and sync with my iPhone. Previously sync between Mac and iPhone could only be completed on home network but a recent update allows sync anywhere (although requires Dropbox).
