Find Friends App

Hi i have had a look through the threads but want to find out how to use the find friends app as i can track no problem but when i try to use the leave and arrive at a destination it won't notify me.
For example if i set it so when my friend arrives at my home it should notify me i does nothing ?
Can anyone give me a step by step instructions of how to set it up as i must be doing something wrong 😕

The app notification is half broken so there is nothing you can do about it. Apple needs to get it fix. I have the same issue.

I've also found the notifications to be very unreliable. It works maybe about half the time.

It has not worked since the iOS7 version came out.

Apple must of done something as it seems to work but not always.
