Ok, I have a 1TB Seagate 2.5" hard drive. I was gonna put it in my 17" MBP, but decided to use it as an external backup given that I already have a 256GB SSD and a 500GB 7200RPM drive in that machine. I need an external enclosure with the following criterion:

-allows 12.5mm drive
-FW800
-eSATA

That's it. I've tried Wiebetech's case but it's too thin. It's currently sitting in a Rosswell G-RAID style enclosure with 2 FW800 ports, but I want eSATA as well. Anyone know of a case that meets all the criterion?

I just bought an Asus... It has USB and eSata - so no FW. I have a 500GB 2.5 drive in it.

It's really nice though. And super solid.

So it is not like the WD 1TB passport se drive that has no sata connection and a soldered usb connection?
No, I purposely avoided that one since it had software that could not be erased as well as the supposed soldered USB connection. And if you read the first post...or even clicked the link, you'd see it was a Seagate
