As of this morning my Find My app is in dark mode. Yesterday it was in light mode, just like the OS-wide setting in System Settings → Appearance. Switching it back and forth in the Appearance panel has no effect on the Find My app. Neither did a reboot. My Find My app is still in dark mode.
What is going on? How can I fix this. I have never liked dark mode. I remember, when the major innovation was showing dark type on a light background, just like paper. Plus, with my aging eyes I find dark mode much harder to read.
