My wife has an Apple Pencil for her iPad and the one complaint we have is that if it gets lost it's basically impossible to find. We knocked the iPad off a table today. No harm was done to it except that the pencil flew off under a nearby table and it took us an hour to find it.

That you can't perform some kind of find-my action on a detached pencil is a major flaw, IMHO.

Agreed! I have lost 3 over the years. it sucks to have to buy it all over again. I even started getting mine personalized with my number on it so if found someone would call. That was a pipe dream. Lol! Any iPad can use my pencil so there is no way someone is going to call and give it back.

I lose mine all the time in my apt. It would be handy to have it findable for sure!
