While watching TV my iPhone sounded off and showed a Find My iPhone alert while lying on the kitchen table. I also received an email from Apple telling me a sound was played on my iPhone X. All my other devices were in-house and idle at the moment, so there is no way I or any other family member set off the alert. I also have two-factor verification turned on, and have never received an unwarranted request. I don't even use my Apple ID password for any other services at all.

I swiftly logged in at appleid.apple.com to check my account, and everything seemed normal with no additional devices added or anything else to raise suspicion that my account could be compromised. Nevertheless I changed my password and checked off the box for logging out all devices and browsers. Could this somehow be a glitch, or should I be worried someone managed to log in to my account and set off the alert?

Yeah I guess there really isn't much more to do. Just got a little paranoid about the whole thing
