I can't find it in the App Store, but going to me.com on the iPhone will result in an "Install Find My iPhone" link which works.

Downloaded and installed on my iPad. It's able to locate my iPhone no problem so i guess it does what it's supposed to...

Glad to see that it works on the iPad, still waiting for a native iDisk app though.

sweet. I think Apple needs to develop more first party applications for their platform.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't quite get how an iPhone app is going to help me find my misplaced iPhone. I mean, the app will be on the phone I've misplaced - no?

If you lose your iPhone you can use someone else's to find it instead of a computer with a 3g card etc.

yes, you need a mobileme sub for this to work

I find it annoying that there are now 3 seperate apps for idisk, gallery and find my iphone. They should just put these into a mobileme control panel app

No, what it meant was that it was available as a free download for everyone, but to use it one needs to be a subscriber.

I don't think you need MobilMe to use this. I hope not.

A subscription is required. First, as this is part of MobileMe, and second, because it says so in the App description.

Why do I have a feeling the alternate name for this App will be "Find my Spouse."?

I wish there was some kind of a la carte MobileMe, I only want the find my iPhone feature. If they charged 30-40 bucks a year for it I'd subscribe in a heartbeat.

I absolutely could not agree more. If they offered that one feature by itself, I'd be on it in a heartbeat.

I wish they could allow the master account holder to view all the iOS Devices in the a MobileMe Family Pack at once. That would make perfect sense instead of having to log into each MobileMe address to find it.

With all those rumors floating around, there's still a chance that MobileMe will either go free or break into two styles - free and paid.

Nope, I'm on the app now on my iPad, and I'm the master (Sho-Nuff!), but I only see my devices.
