Find My iPhone can't locate my iMac

The Find My iPhone service can't seem to locate my iMac but does see my iPad and iPhone. It's listed as a device in iCloud web interface and on my iPhone, but it can't locate it (it's right in front of me). I check it off in the iCloud System Preferences, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions?

I had the same issue on my new iMac.. Seems that you need to have wireless enabled.. do not have to connect to a wireless network, just have to have the Wireless turned on.
..fixed it for me in my case..
