find my iphone not working?

Trying to setup my wife with mobile me and I installed it added the mail account on the phone and it does not give me a screen for push under settings then mail?

She has a 2g iphone is this why

It should be under settings > mail, contacts, calendars > Fetch new data. If not I'd try a restore: it is there on my 2G.
