I can find my iPhone but for my MBP it says "No location"

even though in Sys Prefs -> iCloud > Find My Mac is enabled and also Location Services is enabled in Security & Privacy.

I have it setup for my Mac, iPad, and iPhone. I have noticed that it is hit or miss. It never seems to find all 3 at the same time.

    Yea

I guess your right, for me the iPhone 4 and the iPad 2 are fine, but the iPod touch 4th gen and find my Mac are not working.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Some Macs will only wake for ethernet access.

So if your Mac is asleep and connected via WiFi, it won't wake to provide location data.

But, Find My Mac will locate the machine when it is not asleep.

This is why the service can be set to send an email when the machine is found.

It found my MacBook Pro. FYI, don't "play sound or send message" to your Mac while you're on said Mac with headphones on. Might be a good way to prank someone though, if you don't mind causing them to have hearing loss.
