Unfortunately my MacBook was stolen about a month ago. I checked the Find My Mac service very regularly for the first 3 weeks, and the status of the Mac was "Offline" everytime. I hadn't checked for a week, and when I checked again the status had changed to "Locked on 'x' at 'y'". However, I never clicked the "Lost" button that would invoke a "Locked" state.
So, I am wondering how this behavior could be explained, and if it is indicative of the Mac having connected to the internet somehow?
Note: There were two accounts on the Mac. One was personal, and was password protected. The other was a Guest account that could theoretically be logged into by the thief, and therefore connect to the internet.
Thanks!
