I just picked up a new iPad Air M3 on sale from Amazon, set it up as a new device as I did not want to transfer all the junk from my old iPad.

Everything seems to be working as expected, except the Find My app does not seem to show the location of my Airtag and family member's phones that have sharing with me enabled. The Airtag and the family phones just show "No Location Found".

I've looked thru the location services and everything appears to be enabled, it's able to view my own devices locations, just not the others' and the airtag.

Anything I'm missing?

Oddly enough today the phones started showing the location on the iPad, but the AirTag still isn't. The AirTag is in a remote location, not sure why that would matter as my old iPad has never been in its physical location and still shows "last seen", just like my iPhone.

And just out of the blue, the Air Tag appeared on my iPad today.

Is there a reason why this took so long?

No Bluetooth devices in proximity to it and/or Apple’s Find My network? 🤷‍♂️
Yeah but my old iPad was never in proximity of this AirTag, and it reported it's last location no problem.

The new iPad is just now reporting the last known location for this AirTag. I thought this information would just travel thru iCloud synced/connected devices. Like If one knows the location, they should all show it?
