First off if this is in the wrong place, sorry but I wasn't sure the best forum to post it.

So I have a family subscription with apple, on my phone, my wife's and my children's we all have location tracking on. For some reason on my wife's phone she can't find me under the people tab, it just shows up as no location found but on my children's phones I do show up. We've tried deleting each other, software updates, turning the phones off and on nothing changes. What makes it even stranger is that if she goes into the devices tab she can find my phone and my location is there.

In all honesty if it was like that on my phone I wouldn't be bothered but she is autistic and has OCD as well so it does bother her.
Anyone had this before or knows what could be going on?

Thanks

Hey, Gaz,

It's not impossible that's some kind of bug related to Family Sharing.

But the first thing I'd think to check is whether you and your wife's phones could be signed in to the same account in some way (particularly the same Apple Account – it's normal for one's own devices into which they're also signed to show up under "devices").

(I suppose you've also checked this, but: do all family members apart from the device's owner show up properly on every other family member's device; for example, does your wife's phone appear as a "person" on your own device rather than as a "device"?)
