I am no longer able to track people or device locations within the Find My app. I am instead just met with a pop up saying “Find My Unavailable Unable to connect to server." I get this same message on my iPhone and my iPad. I’ve tried restarting / reseting both devices.

Same here. Didn’t start until probably 5 days after working correctly. I did lose a pair of AirPods and tried to remove it, and not sure if that’s what started it for me. Sent in feedback, also.

Has been working fine for me...almost too well. The bug where it constantly tells me I have left items behind even though I have already cleared the address listed is a pain.

Still broken for me after beta 2.
Same behavior is happening on my phone, iPad Pro and even my M1 Mac Mini. I decided to erase the phone and set it up as new, yet the problem still persist. No surprising since it is a beta after all. But it doesn’t seem to affect everyone. So I will try a DFU restore next and see if that changes things.

Yeah, not sure why it's only affecting some. I've restored and set it up as new and DFU 2x on my iPhone and iPad and also downgraded and went to 14.7 beta, and it's still the same. It's also messing with my homekit automations and hksv automation for home security. Just have to ride this one out hopefully it's fixed in beta 3. I've sent in a bug report for it.

Mine started about a week after being on the dev beta 1. I only have one iOS device on beta, but it’s affecting my iPad and MacBook that are not on beta.
Mine shows me logged in under system setting with location sharing not available. Can not connect to server message pops up every time. If I go to the find my app, it tells me to log in and a button is there that takes me to settings, where it shows me as logged in. iCloud.com still works fine. I’ve sent in info to feedback app. Nothing changed in beta 2. Makes me feel like my Apple ID is corrupted or something is currupted in iCloud idk.

Same problem!

It's happening on all my devices now. I run all the general releases on my main devices, however I do have a test iPhone and iPad that were on the iOS 15 beta. This is affecting all my main devices too now.

Edit: have a case open with Apple engineering currently, so if I get updates on this I'll let everyone know.

Let us know how it goes. It would seem that using an iOS 15 devices change something in our iCloud account leading to this weird incompatibility. I am actually quite worried, when I signed up to test iOS 15 in an iPhone I didn’t expect bugs would propagate to my other devices. ?

Agreed. This is why we test on separate devices; keeping production and development in their own sandbox.

I guess in the future I will have a separate iCloud account for testing, just in case.

Also, is anyone else seeing frequent prompts in Settings for updating Apple ID, as in your iCloud password?

same problem, I have restored all devices (OSX, iOS ipadOS). Still same problem when OS14 is installed.
Well, kept me off the streets for a few hours.. Also, clean/fresh installs are always nice :)

Same, yes I'm getting frequent Apple ID sign-in requests. I only installed the beta on my iPad and it's causing my iPhone on iOS 14.6 to have multiple issues with overheating and constant sign-in requests. I called Apple Care about this and they have notified the engineers and put my account into escalation mode about this situation but that was ~2 weeks ago.

Yep, my iPhone and watch are draining rapidly.

I installed iOS 15 B1&2 on a test iPhone 7 that‘s tied to my AppleID and Find My works on all devices (including the iOS 15 one), so this doesn‘t seem to be a widespread issue?

Just curious, when I called and tried to get help, they sent info to engineering and was told back that since I was on a beta, on one device, they couldn’t help me. Told me to get help on my other devices, that I’d have to uninstall the beta and to use the feedback app. LOL. I’ve submitted feedback and still waiting on any response from them.

One thing I did notice, if I reboot my phone and don’t go into settings or find my, my phone isn’t overheating and my battery isn’t draining rapidly. Might help a little till they get this fixed. Also, I never sign in again when it asks me and it goes away.

I really wish people would say, "Still broken...FOR ME"

Worked fine for me on earlier betas and still works now. That leads me to believe it is not a widespread issue considering I'm not the only one in this thread saying it is fine.

I had no problem when my test device was on beta 1. I believe it to have happened after updating to beta 2.

I'm updating my test phone now to the new build, in hope that it at leasts fixes my daily driver currently on 14.6.
