I am using finder on my MacBook Pro (2018) to try to see files on the hard drive of my Mac Pro (2013). Finder sees the Mac Pro in Locations>Network. It also sees the external hard drives that are attached to my Mac Pro. But it doesn't see the system hard drive on my Mac Pro (Macintosh HD).

Networked via WiFi.

Running macOS Mojave 10.14.2 on both machines.

Any ideas or suggestions?

You're probably connecting via AFP (Apple file sharing) rather than using SMB. You can't see APFS formatted disks, which is what your Mac Pro's SSD will be, using AFP file sharing.
In the Sharing System Preference, click the "options" button and be sure that "Share files and folders using SMB" is checked.
