Anyone experiencing this? I set the width of the columns in list view. Right click "show view options" and then "set as default".

It holds for a while when opening new finder windows, then I go to open a new finder window after some time and the first column (name) has resized by about 30% larger.

Is this a bug... is there a way to fix it?

For those who may be experiencing the problem, deleting the com.apple.finder preferences file followed by a reboot, seems to have solved it for me.

Sorry, I forget the name right now, but there is an app that auto sizes the name column to fit at all times. It works very well in Mavericks.

I tried this, but five minutes later the column width is right back to bugging out.
