Every time I try to move a file in Finder, it suddenly crashes (beach ball) and won't restart. It is very frustrating, and it happens without warning. I have the 2.53 GhZ MAcbook Pro, with 4 GB of RAM and the 320 GB hard drive, with only 30 GB used. The only applications that are running are the Finder, Safari, and iTunes.

Try it in a new user, if it happens there, something is corrupted and you might have to do an archive and install.
