Finder does not open

Hi all. I have 1 year old top of the line 27" iMac with OSX 10.10.3.

Month ago my finder started responding like it should, I could not open it with a mouse click. I could right-click and choose "open new finder window" and it would open.
I tried abselutly everything google could possible sugest but no luck. The only time I could get it to work was if I created a new acount and loged in to that one.
I even did a time machine restor to a point I was sure the finder did work but no luck. So I finally just formated my iMac and began from begining. Everything worked great for a week, then it happens again and I can't bother to format my Mac every week.

Any ideas what could be the problem or couse?

People have reported if you delete the Finder Preferences and then restarting. They report this fixes this same 10.10.3 beta problem.

Thank you satcomer. I did try that in my previouse finder problems and did not workd. But now it did, so thank you verry much.
