Finder Drop Stack Add On - Similar to Path Finder

I've been trying out Path Finder and I like it a lot. I especially like the "Drop Stack" feature. Being in the young and poor category I don't see myself dropping $35 for a full license. I don't need all the bells and whistles of Path Finder, I'd be really happy with a more slender app, possibly an add on to Finder (I don't know if such things exist) rather than a whole new replacement application.

Any suggestions for a cheaper, or free alternative to Path Finder, especially one with a similar feature to Path Finder's "Drop Stack"?

You could download an app named XShelf (freeware).

It works on Tiger and Leopard, and I put it to start with my Mac OS
System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items
