Yes. My Finder is force quitting itself. With no apps open, it does it every 1 second and with apps open, it does every 10 seconds. What the heck is going on here?

It started doing it when I was converting an album from mp3 to AAC and when I openned DivX Doctor 2, to convert an AVI. I already tried reinstalling the OS (10.4.6 when it started doing this).

Basically what happens is that once it starts up again, it shows my Home folder in a Finder window and then it's like I'm force quitting Finder. I still need to update all the stuff again because I'm hoping that might do the trick.

I should make note that on the other user profile, there isn't a problem.

Haven't called AppleCare yet.

HELP!🙁 😕 😱

Drag a file named com.apple.finder.plist to the Desktop if you can (or just out of the Preferences folder) and restart. 🙂

I sorted it all out by taking out my entire library folder. But I forgot about my thread, so I could saved myself all that trouble. :/

Thanks for the help though.🙂
