What does flipping out entail? And what exact Mac OS X version is on that MP?

And by flipping out, I mean Finder quits responding and I have to restart. The interesting thing is that the file usually transfers and opens fine on the other machine. This has happened three times now with two different USB drives, and I'd like to get to the bottom of it. Thanks for the link.
