I was trying to move a word document to a folder and all of a sudden it quits. Should I shutdown, unplug it?

I have already tried restarting Finder and the iMac.

PLASE HELP. 🙁

I'm not sure if you're worried here about the Word document itself, about the fact that Word shut down, or both.

Word quits on me quite a bit lately. I just reopen and see if the file was auto-saved (and I try to remember to save a LOT while I'm working).

Shutting down the computer and / or unplugging it won't help anything, and it doesn't necessarily sound like the problem is huge. Just try to describe in a bit more detail what you're worried about, and what you want help to do now.

FINDER QUITS *Panic*😱

I am wondering the same thing and if there is a way to start finder--and the dock--without restarting the Mac. I was in a hurry and didn't really look at things too closely--the problem with me happened with Pixelmator. First it quite, then finder, then the dock.
