Hi,

I had recently installed Panic's Candybar 2 to play around with some new icons, but instead of bringing me joy it trashed or destroyed my original finder icon! Now, it is a ****** bonzai and can't be restored from within Candybar! Normally the restore button undoes all of the changes you make, but in this case it doesn't! Also, dragging the applied icon out of the finder field in Candbar and dropping it, only reveals the same bonzai icon below???

I have uninstalled Candybar with AppZapper, but that didn't solve the problem!
Even deleting the source file of the bonzai icon didn't help!

Can somebody help me to get my old, beloved, default folder icon back?!

Thanks.

I'm desperate here!

Never happened to me, but try adding another icon atop that icon...apply the changes, then try to restore the original again.

It that doesn't work, some of the Iconfactory sets or the sets at Interfacelift have Finder icons that look close to the original.
