I wonder if anyone can help...

    (Macbook, 2.4ghz ,os x 10.5.3 (leopard)

in any given finder window, some image files will show their pixel dimensions underneath, and some will not. I have tried clicking 'show item info' in the view options, but still some files will not show the size. Likewise some images contain the camera model and data within the 'show info' and some don't, but they were all taken with the same camera and all edited in the same way in photoshop (CS3).

I cant seem to find anything specifically about troubleshooting this problem, any help would be much appreciated....

    thanks
    josh

There's no feature in OS X that shows the pixel info AFAIK. Do you see the pixel info above the file name? If so then I'd guess that that info is in the icon preview generated by whatever graphics program you last saved that image file through.

    EDIT:

OOOOHH! I know what you're talking about now. That's only in folder you're viewing by icon, which I never do. When you're viewing the contents of a folder hit apple-j and then check the 'show item info' option.
