Finder List View: Missing Functionality?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some feedback if the behavior I'm seeing is normal. I'm using Finder with List View without the new "Arrange By..." feature. In SL one could double-click the separator between columns (see pic) to automatically resize a column to its ideal width. I'm unable to do this in Lion. Am I missing something, or is this just gone? Thanks.

This bugs the heck out of me, it's one of the things I used most in Snow Leopard; I can't find a solution anywhere online. Please, if anyone knows how to auto-resize the width of the sections in List View in Lion (used to be able to double-click on the column separators, as the original poster showed), PLEASE share your solution with us!!!!
