Finder menus not working since Mojave

Hi - since updating to Mojave, I cannot open any of the Finder menus (nor the top left Apple icon menu when on the Finder screen). I tend to run my apps in Full screen mode, using swiping or a hot-corner to switch between them.



But clicking on Menus when in Finder does nothing.. Any ideas please?
