It's a perfectly serviceable platform for observations on double standards inside the Apple reality distortion field, not comparable but analogous enough.

But it's not. It's neither comparable nor analogous. You're attempting to equate multiple felonies with a non-crime. At worst, trademark infringement results in a lawsuit for unfair competition. That didn't even happen in this case. (As for your "land of the internet lawyers" crack - no, I'm a lawyer in meatspace, too - an intellectual property lawyer, in fact).

And there are two ways to look at your inability to find some action by Apple that roughly equates. I submit that the most likely source of this inability is that Apple hasn't actually done anything roughly comparable, and there is no hypocrisy and no reality distortion at work here.
