I had tried to copy some files off a flash drive, and I accidently ejected the drive before my files had finished copying. And since then, the copy window has been stuck open at 3.32/3.5 gigs with about 10 seconds left...and I can't get it to stop copying, or restart, or do anything to make it go away. When I try to restart it just says finder can't close because stuff is running. How do I fix this?

try force quitting the finder under the apple menu. if that doesn't work then you can either force the macbook to shutdown by letting it run out of battery or someone else can suggest a faster solution.
