I've had this odd problem in Leopard - I was hoping 10.5.7 would fix it, but it's still there - basically I use folders as sort of a sticky note on my desktop, I'll constantly click on the desktop hit shift-command-n for a new folder and start typing away to give myself a quick note - but for the past few weeks it will create the new folder and let me type the first few letters of the new folder name before it locks off and names the folder whatever I was able to type in those few seconds - does anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? (I already repaired permissions after the 10.5.7 upgrade - and all other apple software is up to date). It's really annoying - my other computers don't have this problem, just the main iMac.

Thanks,
Mark.
