Finder Problems when connection with Samba/other machines

I'm not sure why it's happening, but everytime I connect with my other machine running Windows Vista and try to open/modify anything on the folder shared the Finder froze and all I can do to restore is to manually reset the computer (pressing the turn off button). Even if I restart the Finder it does not work, keep frozen.

I'm running Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.5 and my other machine is running Windows Vista.
