In Lion, is there a way to make the finder act/function like the one in Tiger/Snow Leopard? I am considering saving up for a MBP, and the Lion finder is a real buzz kill. I will be getting one this summer (if at all).

I was talking about the look, i have been using Tiger for the past year, and when i use my friends iMac, it feels all wrong, i was wondering if there was a way to get the sidebar from the older OSXs back. I may be the only one, but i really depend on that feature to navigate my eMac.

Do you mean the colored icons, or just the same sidebar options? The sidebar in Lion is customizable, you can put whatever you want in there, including exactly what was there in Tiger
