hey guys i just bought a brand new iMac tonight from best buy. the 27inch 5k model with 1tb fusion drive i5 chip.

i was loading it up and everything was fine. i opened iTunes and it told me to restart to do the updates. after it restarted i get the "Finder quit unexpectedly while using the Finder plug-in."

restarted a bunch of times and it still pops up.

contacted apple chat they made me restart my nvram by doing the reset plus command option p and r.

still have the problem.

im chatting with them on my iPhone as i type this but i feel like whoever is doing the chats at this time don't know what they're doing and they're just running down a list of troubleshoot faqs.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

What applications have you installed at this point? If the Best Buy folks convinced you to buy any type of antivirus product and install it on your new Mac then that's almost certainly the problem.
