Just wondering if anyone has ever encountered this problem.

I have for a long time launched the Finder Window using the shortcut cmd+Space. This has stopped working. I've tried remapping to other keys etc with no luck.

The other user accounts on my machine can still launch Finder using a keyboard shortcut.

Can't find any solutions online so all help appreciated. Have used killall Finder, rebooted etc.

Not sure if I understand this correctly... To open a new Finder Window you need to go to the Desktop/Finder and press Cmd+N. This will open/create a new Finder Window.

If you go to the System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts, there are no options to change this option. Be default, Cmd+Space opens Spotlight search.
