Just getting to grips with my first mac, and enjoying it so far, and slowly learning after years on m$.

A quick question, I've just upgraded to 10.4.2 with no problems, however when I like look Finder - About Finder, it states that its Finder version 10.4.1. The system version under about this mac is 10.4.2, but seems odd the finder has stayed as the previous version.

Is this normal, or have i broken something already???

Crap! You broke it and now have to buy a new Mac. Its totally unfixable.

Actually, just because the Apple releases an update to the OS, doesn't mean release an update to finder. Example) I have Mail version 2.0.2, because there is no version 10.4.2 of Mail. You have the correct version of finder.

Thanks. Was hoping this was the case, and I understand the comment about Mail. Its just 10.4.1 seemed a bit to close for comfort! :)
