I upgraded my i9 iMac to Sonoma this morning and have an issue with Finder, it will not launch. Cannot relaunch.

I have rebooted, I have run First Aid, and I have tried a solution mentioning to kill the Dock so that restarts, nothing.

but what is probably a clue for someone with more understanding than me is, I created a new user account and that account has no issues with Finder. Only the Admin account I have always used is having issues.
 
Apparently signing out of iCloud lets me use finder. I am confused. An apple app named "bird" crashed on sign out
