Finder window minor problems to fix:

Hello,

I have two problems in my Finder Windows that I need help on:

1) on any given finder window, there is a large question mark that appears to the right of the 'info', 'new folder', and 'folder drop down menu' icons. when i click the question mark a window pops up and says "The item can't be found."
how to clean up?

2) in the "Places" section where the folders are located in the finder window, I have a non-used folder that is stuck there and I can't throw into trash. how to get rid of?

You can drag both items off the toolbar and sidebar via holding down the OPTION/Alt key while clicking and dragging them.
You can also right-click both items and select "Remove from toolbar/sidebar".

Yep, as Mister GGJstudios says, it is CMD/COMMAND and drag.
But the right-click still works, unless you reconfigured your mouse.
