So we have a Netgear printer server in my new office hooked up to an HP printer. My Macbook Pro found the printer through wireless automatically but when I went to print it would just say "stopped." I went to HP and downloaded the drivers for OS X and now the printer doesn't show up at all!

Any suggestions???

What HP printer model?
If it's a USB-only printer, the HP-provided Mac driver is for USB only. Need the printer model to recommend alternate driver(s). If you have a Gutenprint driver for that model, try it.

Tell us the print server model, too.

Much more information is required for us to help.

If all else fails, you can just connect it to a router via USB and add it as a normal network printer via os x

So this is what I've gotten so far:

Got the IP address(192.168.1.118) and added the printer, picked the driver out looks all good. The port on the printer says Port 631, but on the test page my boss printed out says the port is IP_192.168.1.118P1

Is that the problem now?
