macOS finding fontfile size using java

I am developing a program in java on mac os ..
when i try to find filesize it is giving me '0 long' on font file(actual size is some 2000 bytes ) but on other files it is working properly ...

can any one know the answer ,, please help me..

On the Mac, you do need to remember to check for both the file itself (in traditional Mac nomenclature, the data fork) and any associated resource fork. Mac font files can go either way depending on the type.
