Last week my golfing partner drove (senior moment) our cart into a creek - no alcohol involved (really). Thankfully he was not hurt. All was recovered except my iPhone 4 and his ego.

My question is "Does the iPhone had enough metal in it to be picked up with a strong magnet?" Would be nice to know before I go back to the course with a fishing rod a magnet attached (it would be on facebook/uTube in a few seconds with the friends I have..)

    Thanks...

Not going to work. You might as well just wade in and start feeling around.

I hope you're able to retrieve your phone. Don't forget to post some pictures/videos of the process.

Unless you need to find it for insurance purposes or something, there's not much point. It wont be working!

Wouldn't the iPhone be on the other side of the water by now having been pushed by a stream or something?
