spotlight search window results does not show where m4a music files are located.

when using spotlight to search for "documents or other type files" spotlight will reveal where the file is located, after clicking on the correct file in the list that spotlight comes up with. The path to the folder where it's located shows up on the bottom of the screen.
However if it is a m4a music file, when you click on it, iTunes plays it and does not show where its located.
I'm needing to import that m4a music file into another application.

thank you

This may help. In the Spotlight results, move the mouse over the item, so it highlights and you get the Quicklook preview, and then press and hold the Cmd key. The path will appear at the bottom of the Quicklook window. It shows the file name and then scrolls to the path.
